Ragtime at Fort Tilden

On August 21st, at 6 pm, the Rockaway Music & Arts Council will present a ragtime concert as part of its Summer Arts Series. The featured pianists will be Terry Waldo and Peter Muir. I will introduce the artists and give an introductory talk on ragtime. Admission is free.

Baisley Patterson Elebash Lecture

Each year the Graduate Center of the City University of New York has an Elebash Lecture focusing on New York City. I have been invited to give the Elebash Lecture in early October and will speak on Ragtime in New York City. Details to follow.
